ELAINE LEADER
Elaine Leader studied at DIT graduating in 1995. She has lectured both part time and fulltime at DLIADT, NCAD, Airfield and BCPS. Solo Shows include ‘Pages’, NCH, Dublin, 2004, ‘Trace’, Ashford Gallery, RHA, 2002. Selected Exhibitions include ‘Proofs’, Chester Beatty Library, 2009, ‘Milestones’, OPW, 2007, 'Insideout', Graphic Studio Gallery, 2006, ‘Garden of Earthly Delights’, Chester Beatty Library, 2005, ‘Contemporary Irish Prints’, New York, 2004, ‘Irland’, Grafiska Sallskapet, Stockholm, 2003, ‘Hand Pulled Prints IX’, San Antonio, Texas, 2001, ‘Ireland France 2001’ Paris, 2001. Awards include OPW Per Cent for Arts Scheme, Commission for the National Library, Arts Council Art Flight 2001. 1997 & 1994, Arts Council Travel Award 2000 & 1996, RHA Annual Print Award 1998, Arts Council Studio Grant 1996, Arts Council Studio Grant 1996, Arts Council Materials Grant 1995. Public Collections include National Library of Ireland, RHA Collection, AIB, OPW, DIT, Intel, K.P.M.G., Dublin Castle, Jurys.
COLIN MARTIN
Colin Martin graduated from DIT in 1994 and is due to complete his MFA from NCAD in 2010. He has lectured part-time in NCAD an DLIADT and has been a visiting lecturer in GMIT , DIT and Crawford College of Art. He has held Solo exhibitions at Temple Bar Gallery 1999, West Cork Arts Centre, Ashford Gallery RHA 2006 and the Fenton Gallery, Cork in 2009.Recent Group exhibitions include’ Camera Obscura’, Light house Cinema 2009 ‘Thirty Thousand Years Later’ Pallas Contemporary Projects 2008 and ’Returning’ Highlanes Gallery , 2007 .Recent Awards include The Arts Council Bursary 2007 /2004, Thomas Dammann Award 2008, Hennessy Craig Scolarship 2004 and Golden Fleece Merit Award 2004.
