Seán O Sullivan
Seán O Sullivan’s practice studies the implications of idealism in human social structures; this is influenced by the gradual demise of the great frontier, and by mankind’s tendency to continually question settled knowledge. During the past two years, his work has examined the possibility that an Astronaut might die. He works primarily using print and fabrication.
O Sullivan was formerly the gallery co-director at the Master Thief’s Secret Lair, Dublin and recently curated the Scalar project on behalf of Ormond Studios, Dublin. He graduated with a BA in Visual Arts Practice from IADT, Dún Laoghaire in 2009.
